- <p><strong>Joe Dever</strong> nació en el año 1956 en Woodford Bridge (Essex, Gran Bretaña). Al concluir sus estudios, trabajó como músico en unos importantes estudios de grabación de Londres. En un viaje de negocios a Los Ángeles en 1977 descubrió el juego de encarnar personajes titulado Dungeons and Dragons (Mazmorras y Dragones), que inmediatamente le entusiasmó. En 1982 ganó en los Estados Unidos el Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Championship, en el que era el único competidor británico. Desde entonces ha participado en numerosos programas de radio y televisión y su nombre ha aparecido muchas veces en la prensa en relación con este hobby. Las aventuras de Lobo Solitario son la culminación de muchos años de trabajo consagrados por el autor a crear y desarrollar el mundo fantástico de Magnamund. Joe Dever proyecta revelar en próximos libros nuevas maravillas de las Lastlands.</p>
- <p><strong>Gary Chalk</strong>. Nacido en 1952, creció en el ambiente rural de Hertfordshire (Gran Bretaña). Su gran interés por la historia le llevó a tomar parte desde los quince años en juegos de guerra, un hobby que aún hoy cultiva. Después de obtener su licenciatura en Dibujo hizo prácticas durante tres años en un estudio y consiguió el titulo de profesor de Arte y Dibujo.
-Trabajando como ilustrador de libros infantiles empezó a interesarse por los juegos de aventuras, interés que le ha conducido a ilustrar varios juegos de gran éxito como Cry Havoc, Starship Captain y Battlecars (este último en colaboración con Ian Livingstone). Pero quizá la obra que le ha dado más fama sea el juego del Talismán, que ha obtenido un éxito enorme.</p>
