	You resign yourself to the fact that you are unlikely

Š	so you turn to leave. Seeing this, the drunken louts 
Š	in the taproom start to jeer at you and throw food

Š	mindless abuse you lead them out of the tavern and 
Š	begin retracing your route back to the harbour in the 
Š	hope of reaching ιThe Azanι before night closes in 
Š	completely. You are within a few hundred yards of the 
Š	harbour entrance when suddenly a patrol of the city 
Š	watch come marching around a corner with their spears 
Š	couched on their chainmailed shoulders. Their officer 
Š	commands you all to halt and demands that you raise 
Š	your hands above your heads.
