+       An hour passes before your turn comes to enter \r\8a       Temukun's tent. Awaiting you inside is an old man \r\8a    swathed in a silk robe. He wears a jewel-encrusted \r\8a   collar and a large blue turban that is wrapped \r\8a       impeccably around his frail head. He is seated cross-\r\8a legged on a mound of pillows and he cradles a sphere \r\8a of rose-coloured crystal in his lap.\r

+       Without once looking up from his crystal sphere he \r\8a   tells you to sit opposite him and place any weapons \r\8a  you may be carrying on the floor beside you.    When you \r\8a     comply with his wishes he closes his eyes and begins \r\8a to concentrate. A few moments later he opens them and \r\8a        stares at your satchel with a look of shocked \r\8a        surprise; you sense at once that he has detected the \r\8a presence of the Moonstone. The frail old man begins \r\8a  to shake and beads of sweat trickle down his wrinkled \r\8a        face. For a moment his eyes widen and then he faints \r\8a and falls backwards among his pillows.\r
