+       The two-day voyage to Nhang passes swiftly and \r\8a       without incident and you arrive at the port early on \r\8a the morning of the third day. The entrance to Nhang \r\8a  harbour is noted for its 80 fearsome stone statues, \r\8a  known as 'The Warriors of Nhang', which stand in two \r\8a lines and form a double colonnade out into the sea. \r\8a  Their ferocious granite faces glare down at you \r\8a      unmercifully as the \ 5éEmbassage\ 5é sails between them and \r\8a     docks at the quay.\r

+       Before you disembark, Captain Leonghi warns you to be \r\8a        on your guard while you are in the city. The natives \r\8a still harbour loyalties to the memory of Shasarak, \r\8a   and recent uprisings have led to the imposition of a \r\8a dawn-to-dusk curfew. He advises you to go directly to \r\8a        the city of Tiklu and seek out his cousin Gemulkin. \r\8a  He, too, is a merchant captain and he regularly plies \r\8a        a trader between Tiklu and the Port of Suhn. Leonghi \r\8a gives you a scroll (record this Special Item on your \r\8a \ 5éAction Chart\ 5é as Leonghi's Scroll; you keep it in a \r\8a       pocket of your tunic). It is a letter of introduction \r\8a        which bears his seal, and in it he asks his cousin to \r\8a        take you to Suhn.\r

You leave the port area \r\8a   and follow 'The Street of the Full Moon' - the main \r\8a  thoroughfare which bisects the city and ends at its \r\8a  West Gate. Your first impressions of Nhang are mixed. \r\8a        The striking design and construction of its buildings \r\8a        amaze you, but the dismal mood of its natives and the \r\8a        large number of street beggars leaves you with the \r\8a   feeling that the city could erupt at any time. \r
