+       The natives are angry. They come running towards the \r\8a river bank, screaming and slashing the air with their \r\8a        primitive weapons. Their leader shouts at you, and \r\8a   although his dialect is unfamiliar, you are able to \r\8a  understand enough to hear that the man you have saved \r\8a        from the river is a thief and a murderer. He escaped \r\8a from the settlement last night during the rain storm, \r\8a        and the leader is accusing you of being his \r\8a  accomplice and of helping him to escape. He says that \r\8a        the river gods have brought you back to their village \r\8a        to pay for your crimes. You attempt to protest your \r\8a  innocence but the leader refuses to listen. He \r\8a       confiscates all of your equipment, including your Kai \r\8a        Weapon, your belt pouch, your backpack and the \r\8a       satchel containing the Moonstone, and then he has his \r\8a        men march you away to their village where you are \r\8a    locked in a hut. Shouting through the closed door, he \r\8a        tells you that the village elders will meet tomorrow \r\8a at noon to decide your fate.\r

They \r\8a   say that the elders of the village decreed that he \r\8a   should be weighted with rocks and thrown back into \r\8a   the water. You have no wish to suffer a similar fate \r\8a and so you quickly set about finding a way to escape \r\8a from this hut.\r
