+ You fight your way to the surface of the churning sea \r\8a and gulp a lungful of air. All about you are flailing \r\8a lumps of debris, foaming bubbles, and treacherous \r\8a strands of rope and canvas that threaten to entangle \r\8a your limbs and drag you to your doom. Breathing hard, \r\8a you fill your lungs and feed oxygen to your blood \r\8a before diving deep below the flotsam of the dying \r\8a ship. You surface beyond the debris and swim for the \r\8a shore, now less than a mile distant. \r

+ The waves bring you ashore upon a rocky beach where \r\8a you crawl for shelter among boulders at the base of a \r\8a chalk cliff. From here you see the wreck of the \r\8a \ 5éVargas\ 5é come drifting towards the shoreline to be \r\8a smashed to pieces on the rocks. Gangs of men are \r\8a pacing the beach, salvaging cargo and slaying any \r\8a crewman who is washed ashore alive. They are \r\8a wreckers, and your Kai senses tell you that they are \r\8a led by an evil magician who possesses great power. \r\8a You can feel the aura of his presence nearby, high \r\8a upon the cliffs, and you know that he has been \r\8a responsible for the wicked destruction of the \ 5éVargas\ 5é \r\8a and its crew.\r

+ Using your Kai camouflage skills to keep yourself \r\8a hidden from the wreckers, you hurry away along the \r\8a rocky coast. During your escape, unless you possess \r\8a the discipline of Grand Huntmastery, you must eat a \r\8a Meal or lose 3 ENDURANCE points.\r
