Owing to its increased power, add 12 to your <typ class="attribute">COMBAT SKILL</typ> for the duration of the fight</quote> (cf. <a idref="sect88">Section 88</a>).</p>
<p>It seems that the author intended to keep the <ch.plus/>12 <typ class="attribute">COMBAT SKILL</typ> bonus a surprise for the final, climactic battle, but this leads to inconsistency with the battle against Darklord Taktaal presented here. We suggest that you use the <ch.plus/>12 <typ class="attribute">COMBAT SKILL</typ> bonus against Darklord Taktaal due to the power of the weapon you are wielding.</p>
