  11         As you watch the migrating fanji, your sixth sense \r\8a   warns you that something is wrong.      The leading beasts \r\8a   are constantly changing direction and the rest of the \r\8a        herd are following blindly in their wake. They are \r\8a   passing within a mile of the trail when suddenly you \r\8a see the leaders switch direction once again. To your \r\8a dismay, you see they are now thundering towards the \r\8a  trail on a collision course with yourself and Prince \r\8a Karvas.\r

  13         Frantically, you wave your arm and signal to Karvas \r\8a  to follow your lead. With your heart pounding fit to \r\8a burst, you veer away and gallop your horse through \r\8a   the waist-high grasses that borders the trail. As you \r\8a        race before the thundering herd you can see only two \r\8a places ahead that promise safe sanctuary from this \r\8a   stampede: the River Ioma, and a small tree-fringed \r\8a   hillock.\r
