  11         You and Karvas step across the lifeless bodies of the \r\8a        knight and his escort, and then hurry out into the \r\8a   corridor beyond. You slam the cell door shut behind \r\8a  you and, with a powerful kick of your heel, you \r\8a      cleave away the dial of the lock to prevent the door \r\8a from being opened easily.\r

  22         Karvas buckles on his swordbelt and, before you \r\8a      leave, he unhooks a coil of rope from the wall and \r\8a   slings it over his shoulder. On returning to the \r\8a     corridor, you hurry to the end to where a circular \r\8a   stone staircase ascends to the levels above. With Kai \r\8a        Weapon in hand you begin to climb the steps, \r\8a retracing the route that you committed to memory when \r\8a        you were dragged to the cell less than an hour ago.\r
